Affiliate disclosure
Sikovia is operated by Nabus AS, a Norwegian company. This page describes how commercial relationships work on this site, and what they are never allowed to change.
Current status
There are currently no affiliate links on this site. Sikovia earns nothing from your use of the tool today. This page is published in advance so the rules are written down before any commercial link exists, not after.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link that identifies Sikovia as the referrer. If you follow one and buy something, the retailer may pay Sikovia a commission. The price you pay is the same either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
How they will be marked
If affiliate links are added, each one will be labelled where it appears — not only on this page. You will be able to tell before you click, not afterwards.
What a commission will never change
The tool reports the markings it reads from your photographs. Those values come from a deterministic parser reading transcribed text, and you confirm every one of them before anything is accepted. No commercial relationship can alter a model code, a colour code or a measurement in millimetres.
Sikovia will not present a frame as compatible with your measurements in order to earn a commission. The markings printed on your frame are not a guarantee that another frame will fit, and no partner link changes that.
Advertising
This site displays no advertising and uses no advertising networks.
Payment for inclusion
Sikovia does not accept payment to be featured, recommended or ranked. If a partner is added, it will be because it does something the measurements actually enable — such as fitting new lenses into the frame you already own.
FTC compliance
In accordance with US Federal Trade Commission guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, Sikovia discloses material connections to any product or service referenced on this site.
Privacy
Commercial relationships do not affect how your photographs are handled. See the privacy notes — photos are analyzed in memory and are not stored after the request completes.
