The historic Villa and a newer Palazzo, joined by a covered corridor, have been refitted in a contemporary style, so the character is a renovated grand hotel rather than a period house. MICHELIN's inspectors place it in one of the lake's quieter stretches that still gives easy access to the central villages. Its main draw is wellness and the Bellagio view rather than historic interiors.
